Gas Firing Guns

Has anyone installed gas firing guns in his replica WWI aircraft and successfully fired them without unintentionally damaging anything? If so, would you please share what system you used, how you installed it, and how well it works?

Thanks!
Chill

Did you design your own gas system? From what metering did you make your barrels? Cool video!

Jumpin Jan got the designs from Marv and the later version, then did a major redesign, along with improving (I am sadly understating the level of improvement he achieved) the chamber and gas metering system. Glen Fike uses one and it sounds really nice. Very stable and safe.
Don't know if he is still making them, as he has been very busy with other projects, IIRC.

The DPR 2104 was a great hit. One of the things that made it enjoyable was the sound of Jan's guns rattling through the air. It was fanatic and should be on more aircraft.
