Hoping this is the right place to ask this question, I have been a longtime follower of this forum so its good to have a reason to post.
I've recently been researching
Frederick Dudley Travers, a pilot for 17, 47 and 150 squadrons during 1917-18 and widely regarded as being the only ace on the Bristol M1c.
Whilst putting together an article for my website I discovered this handwritten combat report posted by the Royal Air Force museum:

This account matches the date time and location exactly of one of Travers' kills written everywhere else as an M1c, yet here he has clearly written he was flying an SE5a. Both were on the squadron at the time so it makes sense, but it seems strange that a number of other, usually reliable sources state otherwise, including this site:
http://www.theaerodrome.com/aces/england/travers1.php
The engagement in question is the 4th September at 10:55.
I was hoping someone on here may have come across this report before or may know if it has been shown to be incorrect in the written account.
Obviously this would technically make Travers not an ace on the M1c, so I want to make 100% sure I have not misinterpreted this information.
I was certainly surprised to stumble on this information and would love to be proved wrong!
Many thanks,
Seb
