Like to post short in-flight videos of Rhinebeck a/c: is this the right venue?

Too short. I would rather hear the engine than music. Otherwise it looks great.

Pete,
With photobucket, you are better off using the IMG code found to the right of the image you wish to post. That'll get a preview image up... but will take the viewer to photobucket to watch the video.

Youtube is a little better. If you use the youtube button... and only paste in the last part of the link, you'll get a video in a frame that can be watched from the forum.

Vid

Tim, I prefer original engine soundtracks as well: engine sounds are often obscured by the loudspeakers, and visuals may be momentarily blocked by sightseers.

There are practical bandwidth limitations that limit it to short clips.

Current (summer 2014) ORA Albatros D.Va is powered by an inverted Ranger after the original Mercedes broke a crankshaft...

Rob, thanks: it will require some tweaking nto keep it short and sweet.

Does this sort of video belong in another thread/section of AF?

Question How are my identification skills?

Same critique as others: 1) the clip is short and 2) I prefer the sound of the engine to music overlay.

I identified the aircraft as an Albatros D.V vice D.III. (Oval cross-section fuselage.) Did I pass?

Pete,
it is a replica, so this is perfect, as far as I can tell
Hmm, if there are enough of them, could we start a Breguet Video ID thread? HAve to ID the plane, pilot and venue for full points
I really liked the old paint scheme on the Alb, but the new one looks exceptional. Great artisans there.

I liked the old paint better too.
I have many pictures of that plane up close, and I marveled at the woodwork.
Now, all those fine scarf joints are hidden behind paint.
