Previous: Aeroplanes 1914 - 1918* -* Breguet's Aircraft Challenge* --
The Rules:
1. The thread title must be "Breguet's Aircraft ID Challenge #......"
2. The score board, link and rules must be copied to the beginning of each thread, so that we know where we are. The score board and the correct answer to the challenge must also be placed at end of each thread.
3. The completed aircraft must have been either; designed, built or have left the ground during the '14-'18 period and be identifiable by the poster.
4. The photo must show the whole aircraft - from whatever angle, or at least 2 views of a 3 view drawing (photo by preference).
5. Challenges which depict a machine already earlier presented are disqualified (always check the list at Aeroplanes 1914 - 1918* -* Breguet's Aircraft Challenge* -- when in doubt !) and the poster re-post within the same thread, the 12hours handicap beginning from that point.
6. If there is any doubt as to the eligibility of an aircraft for the challenge details should be PM'd to Breguet BEFORE the aircraft is submitted.
7. Once someone has got 5 correct answers under their belt they become an ACE. Once they become an ACE they must wait 12hrs after the posting of the new challenge before they can post an answer.
8. To be eligible for correct ID an answer must include at least one characteristic of the aircraft that helped in its identification.
9. The first person to ID the challenge correctly gets to post the next challenge. If this can not be done for any reason Breguet himself will post the next challenge.
10. If an ace gives the correct answer too early, the challenge is over, he gets no point but has to post the next one. In lieu of the fact that the "novices" have in effect been "cheated" of their "exclusive" time that next post should be a relatively easy one. Anyone repeating the correct answer at the right time gets neither a point nor the right to post the next challenge.
11. The final arbiter in relation to questions about the rules is BREGUET.

Sorry, again. This was #1132. Don't post a new number just redo under this number. The time limits will apply from the posting of the next picture.

Nope, not the same aircraft as # 1132. This one is a bit rarer.

But surely this is the exact same photo? Even to the poses of the people around the aircraft? PS Note not the original aircraft but the second posting in 1132.

You're absolutely right, but I note that this is NOT the aircraft listed for Challenge 1132 in the listing of past challenges. See: Aeroplanes 1914 - 1918* -* Breguet's Aircraft Challenge* --, which lists 1132 as a Hansa Brandenberg. That was another bad challenge, which was later reposted using the Pomilio SC. But, the Pomilio does not show up on the list.
I totally checked the past aircraft challenge list, and did not find any reference to the Pomilio SC--- If the reference list is not kept up to date, how are we supposed to know?
I'll post another one when I get time. But, if we want this to work, the reference list needs to be accurate.

Perfectly understandable Doc and definitely not your fault.
We all need to remember however that the reference list is done by Rod - as a very generous gesture on his part - he does his best to keep things updated and as accurate as possible but the situation is not always clear (as you can see).
I am very grateful to him for providing this service and his work in this regard often goes unnoticed, or for some of our newer participants, unknown. I would hope that it doesn't go unsung however.
To this end, I want to publicly acknowledge his work in this regard and ask you all to join me in raising a stein to him!

One issue that effects us all that I have ran across is Deleted or "Closed to Public" Image Host Site Accounts. Some disgruntled Members delete images or access to their accounts. Image Shack has gone to a Fee that many do not want to pay for. These accounts are then rendered unavailable to our further use.
On a happier note.... Thank You Rod Filan for all of your hard work that you have for us. Also for the Great Site "Rosebud" that you maintain!
Cheers, Jay

First, agree with the need to thank Rod for his support and hard work.
As to the challenge # 1345, maybe the third time is the charm. As directed by Breguet, I will post this as a continuation of the old # 1345, and not start a new challenge. I cannot find it in the list of past challenges, or in a search of the entire website (under any spelling of the name), so I hope this one has not been used before. Good luck.
This is a relatively obscure one, and I would like to see not only the identification, but a note as to why this aircraft was relatively unusual.
All the scores, rules, etc. which are found below are still in effect.

I believe this fotograf is of the extremely rare and unusual "Flying Green House", better known as Follie's X2a.
It proved to be not the best flyer, but was found to ripen tomatoes faster at altitude.

OHHH! Big tongue in cheek, I think. But, since the identification is not correct, your early posting is not out of order...... You may be on the right track.
