KEKs beware

All people who wants to have a review of the book Keks and Fokkerstaffels. sent me a private message, before buying a cat in a sac.

.

I'm living in the region and make some 20 years a study on the matter and published 2 books on the matter.

An American reader wrote to me:

As an author working on my first book on the subject.. I was quite shocked to see how poor the kek book reads. It is almost a college under grad paper with photos...

Exclamation

Roser you might be surprised then to read the many positive reviews from forum members in the thread Books by Johan R. Ryheul.

I am waiting for my pre ordered copy from Amazon & am sure I will enjoy it.

Hello

Indeed I did not write two books on the Keks. But I wrote a book on the 4.A. Fliegertruppe (1998: in dutch, 2013 in english)"Luchtoorlog boven West-Vlaandren" and " Above Ypres". And when I look to the bibliography: the english one is not mentioned although Johan used a lot of info from the book. My impression is that Johan did not use first class material from great archives.

As a compatriot of Johan I look for qoality so we don't have to be ashamed.

2. I have a university academic title in modern history and I'm thus the person who may give good or negative critics on a book.

By the way: a forum is to help people. I thought it was my duty to warn the lectors.

And now in dutch: Johan Ik las je book op Kindl en vind het Vlaamse deel heel zwak. Je opsomming van de Jasta's is ook pover.

Roser,

To be honest, I don't even have your last book...

You're seeking confrontation, I'm not going to play your game.

I'll leave it to those who have the book to judge for themselves. Not those with a personal agenda.

There is no personal agenda.

I've got a lot of replies backing my opinion and it is sad that you did not have the book from 2013: "Above Ypres. The German Air Force in Flanders 1914-1918" had much improvements and corrections regarding the Original dutch version from 1998.

Hereby is the discussion closed. I did my duty.

Discussie over en out.

To be honest I've had enough of your false accusations.

You seek conflict and you're not going to get it. You've tried it in the past as well. I'm leaving the aerodrome forum. You can play your games alone, but I'm not going to be a part of them.
