Introduction / Alfred Edwin McKay

Hello. My first post on the forum.

I am doing research concerning Captain Alfred Edwin "Eddie" McKay, 24 and 23 Squadrons, RFC, KIA 28 December 1917.

My research is going well for the most part.

One problem I'm having is with photo research. Some years ago, I myself contributed the photo of McKay that's on the Aerodrome and I have a good photo of him in 23 Squadron.

I have one rather grainy group shot him and his flight in 24 Squadron (he was with 24 from June 16 to Mar 17).

I'm hoping that other photos of him in 24 Squadron exist, but am having trouble tracking down where 24 Squadron photos might be. The Osprey books are beautifully illustrated but don't always indicate where the photos they use are from (apart from personal collections the like) and I've received varying degrees of assistance from the RAF Museum, NA in the UK, etc.

I would very much appreciate any pointers anyone might have.

Many thanks,

GB
