Cpl. Ignacio de la Torre N77 cont...

Hello

In reference to Cpl. Ignacio de la Torre from N77 he did return to Mexico and being part of a well known and wealthy family being the grandson of former Mexican President Porfirio Diaz, he was known as "Nacho" de la Torre and had a estate in Morelia Michoacan where he had social parties with the Mexican political, social and entertainment elite. he was know as a Play boy and was married two times. His second wife (circa 1942) was the well known German spy and actress Hilda Kruger. He was "force" to marry her so she would not be deported from Mexico to the USA. This happened after Mexico declared a state of war on Germany, Japan and Italy in May 1942, this marriage was arranged by the Secretary of State Lic. Miguel Aleman ,who later became President from 1946 to 1952 and reported lover of Kruger.

still trying to find out more about him

cheers'
