Fokker DVII prototypes models - best basis ?

Hi All,

this is my first post on the site and as a modeller, I have a special interest for aircraft prototypes, experimental and secret weapons.

Of course WW1 is no exception and my favorite scale is 1/72.

I would like to build some Fokker DVII prototypes (like the V11, V18, V22...) using Fokker drawings available on the net (Fokker-Team-Schondorff), photographs and 1/72 Roden DVII kits as a basis.

I think that Roden DVII are the best ones but I wonder what version I have to use (There are DVIIs early, late, OAW...). Does someone know what version needed for each prototype ?

Also are there infos about the color scheme of these prototypes ?

V11 & V18 were two early prototypes that were later upgraded into
Fok D.VII 227/18 and 228/18, so should be able to be made from Roden's
Early Fokker kit.
Camo for some of them was standard streaky finish with large white cross-fields. See post #5.
