Pietenpol Air Camper Reconstruction

Hello,

First off, I hope you would not mind if I started a topic about my reconstruction of Pietenpol here. I know it is not WW1, but from the twenties. If it was a serious issue, I can move the topic somewhere else, or direct me to some community which deals with the Golden age of aviation

I am a young amateur aircraft technician, pilot, producer of historic aircraft propellers and still a student. But mainly, I am a big fan of aviation.

At the moment I have an engine (VW 2500 85hp) and metal-tube construction of the fuselage + tail surfaces. My plan is to build a beautiful airplane, which will look very similar to the original aircraft from 1928 and later. My friend is a skilled aircraft builder and constructor, which guaranties me that the aircraft will be safe, will fly and will provide me all information concerning the construction. I write it, so that you know that I am serious about the airplane and its production.

I would like to ask you, who know this airplane, for some pictures or old photographs. I am sending photos which found on the internet. I am asking you for help with decision how the airplane I build should look like (details, painting, whatever comes to your mind).
