5,3,1.7 yrs/old. They are great kids, full of energy, and if you turn your back on them they will try to hot wire your plane and "git bad guys." They will have a blast.
How do people get their planes there? Especially if they are using skids and no brakes. I'm not even remotely interested in disassembling my triplane (maybe its just me, but I already have that tshir) , but id try to fly in if someone had suggestions on how to pull it off as far as a good path to get there.
Thanks!

The landing zone/field there is grass. If you flew in from out of area early, Russ Turner may be putting some of us up at his "Nut-Farm" ... Aerodrome LeNoyer, which is grass.
There is a nearby field that a lot of people have used in the past, but I am not sure if it has grass with the paved.

In the past several planes have stopped and staged at the little airport in New Carlisle Ohio. It has a very nice grass runway and there are a couple of WW1 planes there. The WRIGHT patrol guys have their Newport 11 there as well as their 'soon to be completed' AA Fokker DVIII. Also there is a grass strip, maintained by SCOTT's, at the Marysville Ohio airport. Another one in the area is the grass strip at Urbana Ohio, Grimes Field. These are all in the local area to WPAFB Museum and every one has people interested in WW1 aviation and I am sure eager to assist. And yes Russ will have his Nut house all set up to receive as many nuts as possible! Any way you can come join the fun.. No excuses will remain un conquered!
Anyone flown from Georgia-ish area to the Ohio-ish area on grass airflields with fuel available for purchase? I'm hoping I dont have to invent the wheel on this trip
