It's a different kind of art, right?

Got the first tattoo of a set yesterday, MvR's Albatros D.III. Others will follow. He took the better part of an afternoon, so it was decided to do them all one at a time instead of knocking out the whole flight in a marathon session. Suffice to say, I'm pretty pleased with the results.

And yes, the tattoo artist got a brief history lesson while we were working on it. She put up with it like a champ though. =P
