Aircraft id

This is a photo, probably from Montrose. It looks to be a pair of Gnome 9B-2 100 hp engines, but I am having trouble identifying the plane. I can see what looks to be a Pup in the background. My best guess for now is an Avro 504.

Any definite identification?
Many thanks
