Gray nose SE5a?

Many profiles show Camels with gray painted panels near the nose, forward of PC-10 on the rest of the fuselage, but I do not recall having seen such a paint scheme on an SE5a. Does anyone know if some SE's were painted that way?
Thanks,
Dan

No Dan the SE5 & 5a all had engine panels in PC 10.
There were some SE 5's from 60 Sqd which had coloured nose panels based on their Flight letter for a short time before the powers that were made them revert to normal.
Bishops bird & flight had Blue whilst Grid Caldwells had Yellow.

I think the grey was a Sopwith thing as the Snipe also had grey although many Bristol Fighters also had grey panels but a darker colour. See pics.
