Rudolf Stark 1914-17?

Does anyone know the details of Stark's career with the Uhlans of 2nd Bavarian regiment? I assume he joined them at 17 in late 1914 before their transfer to the Russian Front in April 1915. And that he was a trooper (he would not have entered military training before joing his regiment). He would be just 17 at the time.

He mentions being on the Western Front and being billeted on the civilian population in Wings of War and so this would pre-date the transfer East. I also assume he became a Leutnant in 1916 or 1917 after distuinguishing himself in combat. But when?

He probably decided to join the Air service when his unit found itself unemployed after the first Russian Revolution in the the Spring of 1917.
