This photo was found in the papers of Cyril Marconi Crowe. Bettina Crowe would like to know if someone can identify this man.

Hi Scott,
The guy in your photo seems to be fairly old for a pilot. Maybe 35-ish? It looks a bit like Capt. Leslie Porter, 45 Squadron. There is a photo of him in 'The Royal Flying Corps in France - Mons to the Somme' by Ralph Barker. It probably isn't him, but the similarities are there. Not sure if they served together or not? |

Actually, he looks a lot like Major Lanoe Hawker. But then again, this is just a guess. Any more information on the heritage of the photograph?
