Removeable/changable markings?

Just a quick question for y'all:

Any suggestions on how to make the national markings changeable? For example, roundels for one nation that can be switched to another for an aircraft with multiple personality disorder?

I was thinking one set painted on, the other as a vinyl "sticker" that can be applied and removed over the first... any thoughts?

I've got a little something up my sleeve...

Brad,
I've had the same thoughts... One thing I was planning on looking into was wrapped graphics... you know, like what they do to apply advertising to city buses. Seems to stick pretty good to vehicles... and our planes don't go much faster than a bus on a highway...

Wrapped Graphics FAQs

In reading the latter of Dick Stark's books, the used a thick clingy plastic wrap to disguise Sharon's Morane marking during the making of Amelia and blot out the markings.

Depending on the aircraft, it might be easier to make a duplicate rudder and swap it out and come up with a wrap/clingy section for the wings (like a captured N11, for example).

I like the way you think sir. I was thinking duplicate rudder as well... but this is no Nieuport.
