Hi Red; The H. Hugh Wynne article: PROJECT AIRDROMES, in Vol.6,No.1, 1991 issue of OVER THE FRONT journal - lists Awoingt airfield as s/w of that town, which is itself s/e of Cambrai, Fr. I think it's kind funny that the American Camel pilots called the town, "Upwink", heh, heh!! Further exact than this I cannot provide. Cheers; FM

Thank you Mr. Mason. I found the town just outside of Cambrai. I'm hoping to find the footprint of the field. Working on a project and this has me stumped. I know Jasta 11 spent only 4 or 5 days there which may add to the frustration of the search.
