Hey Al!
It was you who convinced me to come to the forum several months ago. *It was quite innocent at first. *You e-mailed and suggested that I take a question (that I had written in the Aerodrome guest book) to the forum. *
Now, I sit here among stacks of WWI aviation books, circles under my eyes, the shades drawn and callouses on my index fingers. *The few friends and family members who call, to see if I'm still alive, tell me that Summer has come and almost gone. *Then they hang up quickly as I prattle on about rates of climb, sesquiplanes and the death of
Albert Ball. *I think that I used to actually have a life but I'm not sure anymore. *Oh well, I have to check my e-mail to see If that Austrailian bookstore has responded to my inquiry on a copy of Joe Bull's diary.
Best Regards,
Wayne * *
