One wonders if Bishop could have survived the War, given how aggressive he was. It was only a matter of time before a "golden BB" would have found him.

Would someone please tell me why Cap'n Billy would be taunting Sergeant Popkin and company?

Hey Al!

It was you who convinced me to come to the forum several months ago. *It was quite innocent at first. *You e-mailed and suggested that I take a question (that I had written in the Aerodrome guest book) to the forum. *

Now, I sit here among stacks of WWI aviation books, circles under my eyes, the shades drawn and callouses on my index fingers. *The few friends and family members who call, to see if I'm still alive, tell me that Summer has come and almost gone. *Then they hang up quickly as I prattle on about rates of climb, sesquiplanes and the death of Albert Ball. *I think that I used to actually have a life but I'm not sure anymore. *Oh well, I have to check my e-mail to see If that Austrailian bookstore has responded to my inquiry on a copy of Joe Bull's diary.

Best Regards,
Wayne * *

Hey Wayne!!

So it seems I ruined your life? *Oh well. *My life was changed MANY years ago, when I first read "Winged Warfare". *

But as long as you're having fun, that's what really counts!!

VBR,

Al
