Favourite stories about RFC training and flying???

Hi All,
I have always loved the stories about the boys training, there seems to be so many good ones.

I love the story about Vernon Commbs outlined in On a Wing and a Prayer about only flying one hour and thirty five minutes duel. He thought his instructor said "take it up" so he did and when he landed his instructor tore strips off him. "What they hell do you mean doing that?'
"You told me to take it up"
"No, I didn't. I told you to take it in!"

Please tell me your favourites I always end up in stitches and would love to know more.
