Nofsinger Collection part of bookstore liquidation

This is not a sales pitch -- but the impressive Nofsinger collection of WW1 aviation books is included in the discount closeout of Wolfshead Books in St. Augustine, Florida. Lots of gems in the group, including numerous German language bios -- plus, I just saw a 1941 edition of Jagd Im Flandern Himmel. The store closes August 1. Books priced at $50 and less are 50% off; over $50 are 30% off. The best way to see what's available is to go to this website, scroll down and click on "Catalogs", then "View all catalogs" and then select wwi/wwii. (There are also several collections of "Manuals" that cover everything from Army regulations for marrying Philippine nationals to descriptions of aviation tools.) I've bought a number of books from them over the years, and they're a reputable seller. Some of the rare Noffsinger stuff is photocopies, and he used his books a lot, so read descriptions carefully. Owner is retiring, and the shop is closing. Too bad; used bookstores are having a tough go of it recently.

You should have seen the Noffsinger collection when they first picked it up a number of years ago. There was stuff in there I still haven't seen again, and a fair number of items I can now see any time I want, in my library .
