Paul Wenzel

Hi all,
I am looking for the career data, promotions and awards of Luftwaffe officer Paul Wenzel, born Jan 24, 1887, died Jan 30, 1964, in Düsseldorf. Wenzel was a WW I fighter pilot, and Werner Mölders' last adjutant.

I think at this photograph, taken from the AlifRafikKhan's site (alifrafikkhan.blogspot.com), is Paul Wenzel. He stands behind Ernst Udet. Others in the photo is Bruno Loerzer, Arthur Laumann, Fritz Walther Grosch, Johann Janzen and Carl-August von Schoenebeck.

I understand that the picture is small, but that the military award for Paul Wenzel next to the Iron Cross?

Thanks in advance,
Igor

Thank you for your reply, VtwinVince!

What kind of uniforms on Paul Wenzel? This is a form of SA troops? Was he member of this Nazi organisation?

Best wishes,
Igor
