Did Lothar ever fly one and if so did he ever have one in personal markings (either before or after the war)?

Jasta 11 were never issued DVIII's I believe.I doubt he did flew one,they were in such small numbers.It's possible he did but not likely.

If it would not be forbidden to talk about ...psssssssst....models, I would say, it would make a perfect what-if. Red cowling, wheels and a yellow tail. Nice. But, of course, I will not say so.
