Butch Witlock did, 7/8th scale, and there is usually one at the Wright-Pat show (I keep forgetting the couple's name).

I live in the KC area and just finished Dick Starks first book (they are The Dawn Patrols Charter Members) , I see the 12 picture thru the KC Dawn Patrol events. Just haven't seen any more 12's and was surpised there hasn't been more built. Thanks again Tlim

It is a substantially larger aircraft than the 11 of course... and subsequently harder to build. Requires more materials, a few different techniques (forming the spars for example) more space, bigger engine, etc.

It is a neat airplane... not exactly small either up close.
