RAF strut wrapping?

Happy new year to everyone. Hope someone can tell me the width of the fabric used to wrap landing gear struts, etc. on British fighters like the Camel, SE5 etc. Thanks for your consideration.

John,

Not sure what wrapping. The Camel gear struts are A&P Sec 155 oval steel tubes.

John,
SE-5 series was plain unwrapped wood.

strut wrapping

Koz, Thanks for looking in. The cabana struts on the SE5 were wrapped and the RE8 landing gear struts were wrapped just to name a few. Many others were wrapped as well. Might have made a mistake mentioning the Camel. I am building a model of the Vickers F.B.19 and the landing gear legs are wrapped.

Ic John,

I'm not an expert on that plane but I'd bet 2'' frayed linen.
