I've read several other requests for information regarding the location of WW1 airfields. One excellent tip from the Forum was a map in "Over The Front" (Volume 6 1991) but this now seems to be sold out!
I'm hoping to visit the airfields (airfield areas) where 49Sqn served.
I have the names and approximate position of all the airfields but as many of the locations have developed (unsurprising considering almost 100 years has past) I'm looking for an accurate description of each location. I believe one airfield is now a large industrial estate near Dunkirk!
I run the 49Sqn Association's website.......

Hope some experts out there can help.
