I'm presently on a little R&R and away from my sources, but off the cuff KG III and its Kommandeur.

Cheers Russ

If it is the claim by Rogers, he reported:

Just after climbing through clouds I saw two formations (nine and eight) of Gothas coming west at about 7,500 feet. I climbed up with patrol and observed one EA turn back East, so I attacked it, firing 3/4 drum at 30 to 20 yards range. EA burst into flames, fell to pieces and crashed North of Frelinghem.

I have thre crew as Hpt Rudolf Kleine + Ltn Werner Bülowius + Ltn Gunther von der Nahmer + Gefr Max Weber, KG3, all killed.
