I haven't come across specifics yet in my US Army Air Service research, but I do know generally that the US Army entered an agreement with the RFC shortly after the US declaration of war that sent US pilot trainees to RFC training bases in Canada. When winter came, both US and Commonwealth trainees shifted to airfields in Texas. This would explain the pictures developed in Fort Worth.
