Talking Kasta 26, Kg 5_Kasta 40, Kg 40

Mates,
Can anyone direct me to some real info concerning the 2-seater unit's of Kasta 26 of Kagohl 5, and Kagohl 7 of KG 40? (I.E Unit locations, aircraft utilized, commanders, how many personnel, etc) Any books on the matter. I have already looked at frontflieger web site and that helped a little.

Or how about Kagohl 2 during the battle of Verdun?

Hi Tom

It have been mentioned several times that "the book" about German bomber units still havent been written.

Will it ever be written..?

It have been over 90 years now, so I doubt it..

A possible solution might be a book with Grub Street "standard" like TJP or the Schlasta book which gives basic information from "some" known sources..

It existed two different Kasta 26. The first become Kasta 40 later on, so it is basically the same unit you have interest in.

Mate,
Thanks for the info - at least it is something I did not know already.
