War Story

Finally got around to reading it and generally enjoyed the "prequel" to "Piece of Cake." Same irreverent flippancy as PoC.

However, comma:

CANVAS on airplanes! Man-o-MAN!

Did the RFC ever put BEs and FEs in the same squadron, let alone in '16?

Did ANYBODY ever lost 16 planes and crews in four weeks?

Just thought I'd ask.
