Making a camel look like a camel

Hi guys, sorta new here but have been lurking for a while.
My usual projects are a bit later in vintage but our museum got a chance to pick up some homemade static aircraft off a deceased state down in Victoria. In the collection we grabbed 2 Se5,s and a Camel.
At a distance they look the type but up close they are pretty rough. We have stripped the tin and fibreglass off the Camel and starting to tidy up the structure to get it looking a lot better and straighter.Have gone through the net and found various plans to remake pieces.Trying to work out the Vickers gun mounts and "hump" area.We are trying to reproduce an Australian Flying Corps type which looks like it was modified in that area.Anyone got any measurements of the cowl area and gun mounts we can use to make it more authentic..Here are some pics of it so far..

Tinbasher....Please keep this thread going with updates on the restoration of the static camel. Have the SE-5's arrived yet? and could you please post pictures. I am involved with a group that have just acquired 3 full size WW1 static replicas. Unfortunately, they are located over a 1,000 miles away. We just have to get them back home. Thanx Terry
