Richthofen funeral film on-line

F.Y.I., the Australian War Museum has posted on-line its official film of the funeral that the Australians organized for Manfred von Richthofen. It begins with a view of the wreckage of MvR's Fokker Dr.I and then shows various stages of the funeral procession and burial. The link is:
Incidents in Connection with the Funeral of Captain Baron von Richthofen (1918) clip 1 on ASO - Australia's audio and visual heritage online

The AWM also offers other filmed scenes of AFC men and machines in Europe and Palestine at this link:
The Australian Flying Corps in France, England and Palestine (1919) on ASO - Australia's audio and visual heritage online

Enjoy!

You Tube also has the funeral film, along with other footage, including at least one German documentary.

Thank you so much for the link, Peter! There's a wealth of information online now, including the report written by C.E.W. Bean on Richthofen's death that I found as I read the description of the video.

Great stuff!!!
