Pilots wearing spectacles
Bernert, Kissenberth and Wintgens all wore glasses, so undoubtedly other German airmen did too. (Obviously spectacles posed 0.00 detriment to those aces' abilities.) I don't recall seeing any allied aircrew wearing glasses so assume the medicos prohibited specs among Entente powers. Anybody ever seen any reliable info on the subject, either side of the lines?
