DVII Interplane Strut info wanted

Looking for some decent pictures, or drawings of the "N" strut ends on the DVII.

Getting ready to make several sets. But I have documentation that states all 4 ends are adjustable, or 2 are not, or all 4 are non adjustable.

All agree the ball ends are 16mm, but disagree on the angle they were mounted in the struts.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Vet,

Even though a picture is worth one thousand words, that won't stop me....

Knowlton, port upper fitting.

Note that the 2 sections of streamline are neatly joined on a line bisecting the angle, at 90 degrees to the throat of the fork. Note the locking nut for the adjustable ball. Note how wide the spread of the legs is on the fork. (What you feared when we spoke!)

While I would have to go to Quebec or Ottawa to be 100%, I believe that only the two balls at the tube junctions are adjustable. I believe that the fittings on the terminating, single tubes are similar to the gear leg forks. While I do not have a specific closeup of these single tube ends, there is clearly no nut for locking an adjuster in any of the photos I have.

Regards,
John

From the same museum, (Port lower). Not adjustable it seems.

Thank you both. The pictures really help.

John, I have the forks drawn up in Solidworks. The larger spread on the 2 forks will not be a problem. Will have to go up one size on the stock is all.
