Question Aubery B Ellwood ?

G'day All.
Can anyone give me some information on Aubery B Ellwood who flew a Camel with Red Harts on both the Top Wing & Fuselarge?

I know I have seen a pic of this Aircraft crashed but much searching of my library have not turned up the pic or any details.

Appreciate any details of his fate etc.

Barry

Aubrey Beauclerk Ellwood was born on 3 July 1987, claimed 10 victories and received the Distinguished Service Cross. Receiving one of the first permament commissions, he remained in the RAF and rose to the rank of Air Marshal. He retired in 1952 as Sir Aubrey Ellwood KCB DSC and died 20 December 1992.

The Camels in which he scored victories were B3781 (1), B6242 (2) and B7229 (7).

Barry,

Aubrey Beauclerk Ellwood was born 3 July 1897, at Cottesmore, Rutland,
rather than the year Graeme specified.
