Wing Nut HB-W29 to a W12?

When the new Wing Nut Hansa W-29 hit the door steps of many of us, the question quickly arose"Can you make a W-12 from it"?? After looking at information some of you shared with me, I would say MAYBE. It looks like the floats and their struts might work as well as the fuselage. The fuselage would require a little surgery. I also think one of the Wing Nut tail units might work too. I haven't examined the engine yet but I think it will work too with some detail changes . Could some one of you with an original Wind Sock data file on both types compare your drawings in your books side by side? In particular the fuselage. I know the W-12 depending on serial number lot, had different lengths but my comparison of what I have ,the w-29 fuselage drawing in my Data File is vastly longer than that of the W-12 and it should not be. Is there a mistake in the W-12 publication?

I am proceeding to make my W-12 wings but this is not a simple (Just change the wings) kind of modification as some seemed to think.
