Phönix 20.16 1/48

Hello,

In parallel of my Lloyd 40.16 I began another prototype. It is about Phonix 20.16. This plane had for base the hansa-brandenburg D.I, which is modified. Several modifications finally ended in Phönix D.I. My objective is to build a series to see the evolution of these planes.

I'm going to use the fuselage of a kit Sierra of HB D.I.

I have a box Eduard of the HB D.I who is going to serve me to work the cockpit. I realize an imprint of EP of this kit on some plastic.

I'm going to realize my wings with the balsa wood

The profile will be to work to correspond to the plan:

What an excellent idea, Naimbs! You're off to a brilliant start. I'll be watching this closely.

Good evening,

A nice bit of work there, naimbs. Not really my scene but interesting all the same. I'll be keeping an eye on your progress with maybe a Phonix D.I in 1/32 scale as a project for the future. Keep up the good work.

With regards,
Mike.

Thank you for your messages, it is very nice .

I continued the work with the superior wing. I stuck the paper. Then, I am going to coat with a resin.

Once dry, the wing coated with resin can be sanded.
