I guess it comes with age, but I just recently switched from enamel to acrylic paint because I couldn't take the toxic smell anymore. I'm sure there are better lines, but I opted to go with Tamiya paints. Since I had to replace my whole paint inventory I had to go with the best deal I could find, and MegaHObby sells Tamiya pretty reasonable. You can buy the 1/3 oz. bottles for $1.75 if you buy 24 or more. Anyway, I'm not here to 'plug' Tamiya. My questions are this: Do you treat the application of acrylic about the same as enamel? Can I use my old paint brushes that I used for enamels? Should I use prime coats with acrylic as well? And what is the best non-toxic glue to use?
