Hi All:

Wop May was involved in 3 famous incidents:

The death of Richthofen
The medicine delivery flight from Edmonton to Fort Vermilion
And the hunt for the Mad Trapper

In 1973 the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation did a radio documentary on the Mad Trapper. It has recently been rebroadcast and can now be found at:

It runs for 1 hour and is an interesting story.

Denny May, Wop's son, spoke about his Dad's tremendous career in aviation at the League seminar in 2007. Denny was our featured speaker at our banquet and truly captivated us all with the stories of Wop's amazing feats.

It was a privilidge to listen to.
