roland C II radio placement ?

i decided to start my eduard profipack. i am going to do a super detailed build with added scratch parts ,wireing everything up as well as hollowing out the bulkheads instead of leaving them solid as molded.in my windsock datafile one photo shows a radio on the pilots left side in the rear cockpit, right where the kit shows to put the camera. luckily i have a spare radio from my mirage halberstadt clii kit that matches it exactly. in the photo it shows on that same wall the antenna spool. on the kit the antenna spool is on the bulkhead btw the two cockpits, eduard also molded a protrusion on the floor for me to send the antenna( which will be made from invisible thread monfilament) my question is, would the radio be in this same spot even though the spool is in a different spot or would it be in a different place with the eduard configuration. i can leave off the camera i just want the radio to be in the right place for the spool location. any roland experts out there? any input is appreciated.

Hi Scott

From what I can recall , a few months back this subject came up . The radio was mounted in different locations in the cockpit . Depending who the manufacture was ...Roland , LVG .....etc . So it would depend on that and the markings you have chosen . Cool that you are going to be building this kit . Built one in the past before of the non profi version . Two spots to watch for is the lower wing to fuselage join and the gun ring ( carefull sanding here ) . Stephen Lawson has an excellent review of this kit in his profile on Aeroscale .
