Karl Emil Graeper

or Graper as you prefer.... I have no umlout....

I am looking for any references for his plane. Anything at all Granted he only had one victory but it was a rather important one.... I am in the process of creating a model of Quentin Roosevelt's plane and want to also model the plane that shot him down. I think it bears historical significance....

I am also considering modeling Quentin's first victory but need more research on that too
Thanks!

Good Luck

Chris -

I've been down this road before, but if you find anything, I'd be interested.

I'm not sure anyone even determined if Jasta 50 was flying the OAW Alabtroses they were equipped with at the bgining of 1918 or if they had received Fokker D.VII's by 14 July. And if they had....were there enough D.VII's for a "rookie" like Graeper to be assigned one....

Good luck !
Mike
