I was just informed I had the original Fokker 1/8 Hasegawa

I just posted this picture on a forum and they said it was the original FOKKER. Does any one know how rare these are and what they are worth. He didn't believe me that it had a wooden prop.

I also have the SE-5a and the Camel for sale. If interested in any of the three please let me know

I'm interested in the Camel -- how much are you asking for it?

Regards,

They are in the classifieds.

I was wondering more about the rarity of the wood prop vs the plastic prop as I may want to keep it for myself. A question would more than likely not be answered in the classified section.

That is not the point ! You have 3 posts and already you are trying to sell something. If everyone started this way our forum would become another ebay !

FWIW I agree 100% with you, John.

Mores the point, how where you allowed to post up an image? I thought you had to have a few posts under your belt before that became an entitlement.

Would someone please just tell the man if having a wooden prop makes the kit more valuable? It's a fair question for this forum.

I have the Fokker with the wooden prop, and would consider it more valuable. How much, in todays market is hard to say. If you want to build it, that is the kit to have, along with the Sopwith, and last the Se5a. IIRC, the Se is not quite so detailed as the others, and uses more plastic parts. That said, I've seen all three here in SandyEggo, and they are very stunning when complete. I hope this helps.
If I was only going to build a couple of models, the Tripe, and Camel would be the ones. I think those would give the most building satisfaction.
