Instrument face sizes for WW1 aircraft

Sorry if I'm asking something that has been done before, but can anyone tell me the actual size of the instrument faces used on British, German and French WW1 aircraft. I have a heap of photos of WW1 instruments but no sizes, maybe someone knows a site which will give me the answers.

Many thanks in advance.

Des.

I don't know of a specific site, but WW1 Aero numbers 84 and 94 had details of sizes for a range of instruments. I have both.

It may be better for you to list the instruments, and people can provide the sizes.

Thanks Gerry for the info, I presume WW1 Aero No.84 and No.94 are a magazine, if so, are they still available?

I still have the glossy printed instrument faces that MICK REEVES supplies with his CAMEL and PUP plans. These are 1/3rd. scale so you will need to enlarge accordingly--

'SMITHS' AIR SPEED---1 and 5/16ths.of an inch.
MARK V RPM-----------as above
'OIL'-------------------7/8ths. of an inch
Service watch---------3/4 of an inch.
'TYCOS' Altitude -------1 and 3/8ths. of an inch.

All the above at 1/3rd. scale remember... and only 'face' measurements---add for rims.

Dave. Edit----Mick is a designer and flyer of magnificent scale Sopwiths, so I don't doubt the acurracy of these Des.

I think Burl Burlingame "buzz1941" posted some 1:32 instrument faces a couple of years ago. I have a copy of it. Lets see if I can find them. Its a larger file.

Thanks guys for the information.

Gerry. I am going to purchase the download as you suggested, I've never seen this magazine but it sounds very interesting.

Dave. Thanks for the measurements, the accuracy appears spot on judging by some figures I already had.

Stephen. Thank you for the instruments and the time it took you to find them.
