Brothers Eddie and Jimmy Murray
I'm looking for any information on the Murray brothers, they were from Norwich, Conn. and went to Trinity College in Hartford. The reason I am interested is that they were both good semi-pro baseball players in Wyoming in the 1920's and I want to feature them on a baseball card I am doing. Supposedly they were both pilots in the US Air Corps during the war and after the war became Air Mail pilots based out of Cheyenne, one brother doing the Cheyenne to Salt Lake route, the other handling the Cheyenne-Omaha route. I want to verify their background as true before I feature a card of them, can anyone help with any good info?
