Preserving History: WWI Replica Airplanes

Having just read Frank Tallmans "Flying the Old Planes", I realize how little information there is in the world on what it is like to really fly the old planes. So it prompted me to post here and start this thread for anyone who has an old plane to reply if you either dont mind visitors to look at your old plane OR if you dont mind posting on the internet and sharing stories about flying your old plane.

I hope there are more than a few of you out there with completed WWI replicas/originals that wont mind entertaining the rest of us with "war stories" of flying your airplane.

Please post what type of plane you have, its configuration in regards to engine, skid/tailwheel etc, and generally where in the world you keep it.
