Representation of Dr.I 586/17 brush stroke?

Question regarding Dr.I olive brush strokes...

I have seen in photos as well as artist representations
That the brush strokes on many olive Dr1 seem to be more defined on the fuselage(sharper vertical lines) than others...
Yet the wings appear to have angled in softer brush strokes....

N.Person Representation of Kirschstein's Dr.I 586/17 softer brush stroke

Same machine with S.Bastek representation of Udet's Dr.I 586/17 much more defined.(would the wings be that defined?)

My general question is to get the effect as accurate as possible for my purposes.

Specifically is there a difference in the brush stroke pattern from the wings and the fuselage? Or are they to be matched exactly the same.

This is the same air craft all be it was first flown by Kirschstein His Dr.I 586/17 was left behind upon his return to jasta6 it was later used by udet.

That said other than the LO marking by Udet its the same machine represented and interpreted differently, I cant tell in the many profile books I have as well as photos or online searches what is truly the correct approach to this aircraft.
Can any shed light on this??

Thanks In Advance
