Karaya Nieuport 25

Has anyone built or seen a review for the Karaya Nieuport 25? I didn't realize they made a kit of this a/c and I'm hoping it's a good one.

Best wishes,
Scott

I bought it recently so I've only opened the box and drooled over the contents so far. It looks very nice in the box, and it's definitely quite complete. You won't need any aftermarket parts at all.

One thing you will need though, is a good reference or two. Karaya assume that you're something of an expert on the subject so the instruction leaflet is rather thin on information. It'll allow you to finish the kit, but some small details and colours will be somewhat mysterious without outside help.

The kit will take a bit of "some modelling skills required" but I'm going to enjoy building it

Thanks Jessie. I'll have to add it to my "to buy list".

Best wishes,
Scott

Hi Scott,
I'm with Jessie on this. As soon as I got it, I started cleaning parts and test fitting. It's a beautiful little kit. In my opinon, better than Eduards line of Nieuports. Windsock Datafile Special Nieuport Fighters Volume 2 is an excellent reference. Some nice photos of a couple of Nungesser's planes. I'm a huge fan of everything Karaya's done. You can't go wrong wth any of their kits.
Cheers,
Bud
