Help needed re: British oil pressure fitting

In yet another move outsmarting myself yet again, I ordered a mechanical oil pressure gauge from England's green and pleasant land, and received a really nice instrument, however not with the expected 1/8 nylon tubing fitting we have here in America. There is a threaded end with a small nipple on top (without a cap). I assume this is a standard UK fitting, and wondering where best to get the cap and whatever I need to attach it to a 1/8 inch oil pressure line.
Would a foreign car parts place have this for like an MGB?

Many thanks.

British Fittings

A picture might help.

Damn and blast! I don't have enough posts to allow links!
Anyhoo, try Light Aircraft Spares (lasaero dot c o m) in England. Google should be able to find for you.

Thanks!

Pulsameter question:

And another thing - I can't find a fitting here - either compression or pipe thread - that fits the pulsameter. Does anyone have access to that fitting to a pipe?

You need to measure the thread and it sounds like an AN hose fitting

If its British it will be a BSP thread, prob 1/8th BSP. It may be the same as american NPT. Try a forklift or Hydraulic pipe manufacture they may stock what you need, thats who we use over here!!

Thanks - order sent.

Yet another purchase for this project in support of the Pound Sterling. I am expecting a personal letter of sincere appreciation from the Chancellor of the Exchequer any day now.
