Ooops?

Hi,guys.Just browsing through the piccies for something to do and it struck me that you have your O/100 and O/400 pics juxtaposed.I stand,of course,to be corrected but I think you should have a look.Great forum though.Yours in a Sidcot,Roger.

AAC Cadet Leader,

I believe that he is referring to these two pages in the Aircraft section:

Handley Page O/100

Handley Page O/400

I am no expert, but I believe that he is correct about the photos being switched. Coincidentally, I think the Virtual Aircraft Museum made the same mistake at the bottom of their 0/400 page.

Handley Page

It's an easy mistake to make. The only noticeable difference between the two is the length of the engine nacelles. In the O/100 they housed the fuel tanks and were therefore longer.Otherwise as far as I can tell they used identical structures.Airfix may have missed a trick by not allowing model makers a choice of type.{bet I've just made an almighty gaffe by suggesting that].

Good idea, but I won't tell anyone. You thought of it first!

Reduced roundels.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
The photo of the Handley-Page O/100 misidentified as the O/400, is the first photo I have seen of a H-P O/100 with the reduced roundels and rudder flash. Very interesting. .
Blue skies All,
