locations near Verdun
Bonjour/Hello
I am looking for precise locations of staffunits in january 1918 periode for Kommando flak 5 Armee probably somewhere near Verdun? Who was commander or other staff officers at the time? Where was 5th Armee HQ? merci beaucoup Jeroen |

Hi
I have that Hptm Johannes Höfert was Koflak 5 from 12 May 17 until EOW. Sorry dont knew location, but rather certain same place as Kofl 5 and AOK 5....  Gunnar |

By any chance, do you also now which koflak or AOK was acting at serbian/makedonija front in 1916-1918 periode? Or even its commander(s) and locations. I have at least one (unidentified) flak unit was active there as part of (an) AOK. Jeroen |

Hi again Jeroen
It was Koflak 11 which was stationed in Macedonia together with Koluft 11and and Kofl 11. (also AFP 11) Not entirely sure but think all units were stationed at ûsküb (at least partly)...!? I have Hptm Herbert Schumann as Koflak 11 until spring 1918, dont knew when he took command... Roughly I think Koflak 11 might have consisted of 10 to 20 Flak units... It might be possible to find order of battles for 11th Army in some military books/works and also in Freiburg archive... Hope it helps little Gunnar |
