Identify Please Crashed German Aircraft.
Gentlemen,
My first post and hello to all of you.
I own this photograph. Can anyone identify the type of this German aircraft please? The wing tip and undercarriage are probably the best pointers.
The pilot (arrowed) is injured.
Many thanks.

Not much to go on!
Hi Vanguard;
There is very little to go on,but, I think it might be a DFW C.V. The lower wing structure, and the lower wing rear spar tube joining the rear landing gear legs.
Merry Christmas Vanguard,
Dan-San

Hi Dan-San
Thanks for the response and I think you are right
Did some research on this type and it held the world altitude record in 1919 !
Many Thanks,
